It’s hard to believe that I’ve been blogging for almost four years now, and every August I seem to get hit with a food-related craving that requires some type of sweet treat to satisfy. Pecan brownies, sweet and salty popcorn, a slice of chocolate cake, or even a slice of peanut butter pie. This year it’s mini brownie bites, and I hope your cravings are satisfied in just the right way.
Fat Bombs are a new trend in the world of food, so when I saw them I had to try them. When I came across this recipe I knew it would work well for me. Fat Bombs are little bites of good food that you can eat to help you reach your goals. It’s a form of food that enables you to eat more without adding to your waistline. A Fat Bomb is a small amount of food that is high in fat and low in carbohydrates. I find them to be perfect for people wanting to get in shape and lose weight.
Fat bombs are something I experimented with a couple of months ago and have found them to be incredibly rewarding. They are a super easy way to add more fat to your diet without adding any more calories. To make fat bombs I start with a cup of dates instead of the obvious chocolate and then add your favourite flavourings such as dark chocolate, coconut, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and more.. I’m constantly in the want for a brownie, but my macros won’t allow it most of the time, or I’m just desiring something decadent and sweet and don’t have time to make brownies! We developed these Mini Brownie Bites, which are essentially wonderful, chocolate-y fat bombs, to make it more acceptable and easier to consume brownies every day. There’s no need to bake them, and you may prepare them in quantity weeks ahead of time.
Use the Best Low Carb Chocolates.
When searching for low-carb chocolate, it’s important to consider not just the nutrition but also the ingredients. If you’re simply purchasing from the grocery store, a darker chocolate is generally preferable since it’s lower in carbs. We usually buy bakers chocolate from the baking area, which complements already sweet dough and pastries well!
If bakers chocolate is too bitter for you, try Lily’s chocolate chips or coco polo (our personal favorite) which can be found in health food shops or online! Make sure there’s no maltitol on the label of whatever you’re using — that’s a no-no!

Why We Love Low-Carb, No-Bake Desserts!
The most apparent reason we like no-bake desserts is because they take less effort overall and can be consumed sooner than if they were baked and cooled beforehand. However, they aren’t the primary reasons we admire them. We also like the following:
- We may prepare them in a single-serve format.
- They are typically smaller servings, so there is little risk of overeating.
- They can quickly fulfill a sweet desire without having to deviate from their diet.
- In the fridge or freezer, they typically last longer than baked items!
Our no bake peanut butter, coconut balls, low carb chocolate mousse, and no bake cheesecakes are all excellent examples of no bake desserts from our food blog! Try them all this week to fulfill your sweet hunger desires guilt-free and with little effort.
