Some people love eating cheesecake, but others (like me) have a hard time believing that it is good for you. These days, we can easily find low carb cheesecake recipes, but as the name suggests, these don’t contain much (or any!) carbohydrates. So, how do you make a low carb cheesecake that tastes just as good? Here’s a new recipe for your keto cheesecake.
I wanted to make a cheesecake that had 3 net carbs per slice, and I wanted to be able to take it to work for lunch. So, I went to work with a plan. I already had the crust figured out, I knew I wanted to make a cheesecake and I was on a budget, so I looked around for a recipe that would fit my needs. I found this recipe and it was perfect!
This is a delicious and healthy way to satisfy a sweet tooth, without piling on the carbs. I enjoy this cheesecake because it is a great, basic recipe that I can modify to include whatever I want in it! This is a great recipe for people on a ketogenic diet, or for people who just want a tasty, healthy dessert!
All cheesecake fans are challenged!
If you’re anything like me, any keto cheesecake is a homemade treat, but adding the fruit taste elevates it to new heights. Yes, you read it correctly: fruit is allowed on the keto diet! I used one of the finest banana extracts I’ve ever tried to do this and keep the carbohydrates low, and it certainly tastes like a real banana without the additional carbs.
Everyone has a great time!
This cheesecake reminds me of banana pudding, but it’s still ketone-friendly. My family loved it, so it will certainly become one of my new low-carb desserts. I love it when I can create something that folks who aren’t keto die-hards would like!
Here are a few pointers on how to make keto banana pudding cheesecake:
- Bring the cream cheese, sour cream, and eggs to room temperature before using. This ensures that the cheesecake has a consistent texture throughout.
- In a water bath, place your cheesecake pan! Eggs are used in the majority of cheesecakes. The cake will cook evenly and rise correctly if the pan is placed in a water bath. The water bath provides a wet, sealed environment in which the cheesecake may rise gently and without breaking.
- Do not take the oven out of the oven! Temperature variations occur when the oven door is opened, which may cause the cheesecake to break.

With a sweet almond flour crust, this creamy cheesecake is full of the delicious taste of banana.
Crust:
Filling for the cheesecake:
Finishing touches (optional):
- a little dollop of whipped cream
- Banana slices, thin
1
Prepare the crust as follows:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2
Combine the almond flour, Swerve, and melted butter in a medium mixing bowl. Pour the crust mixture into the springform 9 and push down so that the bottom and half of the sides are covered, producing a bowl-like crust into which the cream cheese filling can be poured.
3
Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the crust for 8-10 minutes. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and set aside to cool while the filling bakes.
4
Filling preparation consists of the following steps:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream. Using a hand mixer, blend until smooth.
5
Combine the Swerve granules, vanilla essence, and banana extract in a mixing bowl. For one minute, mix on low speed.
6
With a spatula, add 3 eggs. A blender should not be used since it may cause air bubbles.
7
Assemble the baked cheesecake:
Pour the batter into the bottom of the springform pan after the eggs have been incorporated. To prevent water from entering the springform pan with water bath in the following step, place the baking sheet on a piece of aluminum foil and squeeze the edges together.
8
Add water (approximately 1/2 cup) to a foil-lined baking sheet on a cookie sheet. Place in oven and bake without opening the door for 60 minutes. Turn off the oven and open the oven door for 20 minutes after an hour.
9
Remove the pan from the oven and set it aside to cool to room temperature before refrigerating it. Chill or serve the cheesecake slices at room temperature. If desired, top with banana slices and whipped cream.
To create keto whipped cream, whisk together 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1 teaspoon Swerve granules, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
