Add to that the egg yolk, and sometimes you end up with a little bit of egg white, which you can’t just throw away. In order to make a healthy egg salad, every ingredient must be perfect. By that, I mean that the egg yolk must be completely yellow, and the white must not be chopped up, but rather should be left in large chunks.

There are many ways to make a healthy egg salad, but I always opt for the traditional method: one hard-boiled egg, one whole egg, two to three tablespoons of vegetable oil (traditionally olive oil), a chopped hard-boiled egg, some finely chopped celery, a chopped hard-boiled egg yolk, a chopped hard-boiled egg white, salt, and pepper. These Healthy Egg Salad recipes have been in great demand for a long time. I eat egg salad every single day, not three times a week, not every other day. It’s the one meal I really want, therefore it’s become a regular in my life. It all comes down to the size of the eggs and the add-ins, in my opinion. I’m a sucker for a good add-in, but what constitutes a good add-in is a matter of opinion. To be clear, I like anything crunchy, salty, or colorful that adds to the flavor of my egg salad. To me, the two ideal egg salad dishes are a crispy curry egg salad and a spicy salted egg salad. One of my most important rules is that you should never eat egg salad with a spoon. For the egg salad vessel, I usually choose for zucchini slices. You may use any kind of vegetable, as well as pig rinds or flackers. Don’t let utensils limit you!
