The ketogenic diet is a popular diet among celebrities. Celebs like Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, and even Oprah Winfrey have adopted a plant-based diet, and one celebrity that’s been known to follow a keto diet is Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting. Kaley has been open about her experience on the diet, and she says that it’s one of the easiest ways to get into ketosis.

The ketogenic diet (keto) is a low-carb, high-fat diet that forces your body to burn through stored fat instead of carbohydrates and sugar. It’s a great way to lose weight and help improve your health. And, unlike low-carb diets which are very restrictive, most keto diets are flexible. This makes it easier for you to start, and stay on, a low-carb lifestyle with a wide variety of foods that are high in fat, but low in carbs.

Keto is often viewed as a fad diet, and an unrealistic weight loss method. The diet has gained serious traction in recent years, and has garnered a lot of press. Most recently, the keto diet has become a popular option for those wanting to lose weight, and the ketogenic lifestyle has become a popular lifestyle choice.

A thick layer of iceberg lettuce topped with veggies, cheese, bacon, and a creamy dressing helps to keep the carbohydrates down.

Cut the iceberg lettuce head into four equal pieces and put one in a dish or platter.

Dress the salad with the vinaigrette. Because I prefer a lot of dressing, I use approximately 3 tablespoons per quart, but you may use as much or as little as you like.

Bacon, red onions, blue cheese, and tomatoes go on top of the salad.

Meal preparation idea: Chop all of the ingredients and arrange the salads without dressing in airtight storage containers for lunch or supper the following day!
