It’s not only the fact that you need to constantly combine ingredients and whip them up with an electric mixer, but also that the resulting texture is never as creamy and smooth as you would like. This is what happened to me when I made the first time ever peanut butter mousse. It looked very promising at first, and I was very eager to try the recipe. But when I tasted it, I was very disappointed! The mousse tasted very grainy and had a very thick texture. I read that very similar to making cheese, you need to slowly heat the cream, but then I decided to do it faster

As the keto diet gains steam in popularity, many people are turning to keto-friendly recipes to help boost their fat intake—but as it turns out, mousse is one of the most challenging of low-carb baking recipes. Salted peanut butter is one of the only acceptable inclusions, but it can be hard to find in stores. That’s why I created a keto whipped peanut butter mousse recipe that only requires five ingredients.

When I started Keto back in September, I really only wanted to learn how to cook more healthy meals. But as I started to research the topic, I found that there were so many types of Keto recipes for all kinds of meals and snacks. I read blogs that were simply amazing and that I couldn’t get enough of. I wanted to share my favorite recipes that I find on my blog and I wanted to give you some ideas of what to make.

The nostalgia of PB&J without the carbs!

When we migrated from South America to the United States, one of the most gratifying aspects of our youth was discovering peanut butter! When I was seven years old, I tasted peanut butter for the first time, and it changed my life forever.

For obvious reasons, peanut butter soon became my favorite: it’s tasty straight from the jar, excellent for salad dressings, sweets, and school lunches. Fortunately, this keto dish provides all of the nostalgia of a traditional sandwich without the carbohydrates.

I was inspired to make this recipe by Arman’s peanut butter keto mousse. I added a little salt and keto jam for the PB&J variety!


Tips for making the best salted peanut butter mousse and PB&J parfait:

  • Use a creamy, soft peanut butter. It will be more difficult to purée the natural type. So make sure you choose an unsweetened peanut butter that is extremely smooth and creamy and does not separate from the butter.
  • At room temperature, fresh cheese. Allow the cream cheese to rest for a few hours before using; otherwise, it will be difficult to whip up.
  • Whipped cream that has been chilled. Unlike cream cheese, you must beat whipped cream when it is extremely cold and right out of the fridge, since the fat globules emulsify quicker and remain emulsified longer when cold. This results in the fluffiest whipped cream you’ve ever had!
  • Keto berry jam made from fresh berries. For this dish, I used our own keto jam, but you may use your favorite keto berry jam instead. If you prefer to create your own jam, be sure to do it ahead of time so it can cool before being used in a parfait.



Mousse with salted peanut butter

For a keto-friendly dessert that everyone will enjoy, light and fluffy peanut butter is combined with cream cheese.

Salted peanut butter whipped mousse:

  • 1 1/2 cups creamy, unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 tassen Mönchsfruchtsüßstoff crushed
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream ram ram ram ram ram ram ram ram ram
  • vanilla extract (two tablespoons)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Heavy Duty Shells (1 1/2 Bags)
  • a quarter cup of roasted peanuts (optional)

Berry Keto Jam:

  • 1 1/2 pound bag of Himbeans (fresh or frozen)
  • 1.5 quarts strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 teaspoons ed ed ed ed ed ed e
  • a couple of teaspoons of water
  • 1 teaspoon extract de vanille
  • 2 Esslöffel Chiasamen Esslöffel Chiasamen Esslöffel Chiasa


To make a peanut butter mousse, follow these steps:

Combine the peanut butter, ketone powder, softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Set aside after stirring until everything is thoroughly combined.


In a second dish, use an electric mixer to whip the chilled cream until firm peaks form. Firm, even peaks should develop when the whisk is removed from the whipped cream.


Fold half of the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture with a spatula. Peanut butter may be difficult to combine, so take your time and don’t overdo it. Fold in the remaining cream with care until everything is thoroughly mixed.


If you want a harder peanut butter mousse, chill it for an hour before serving, or eat it straight away.


To create keto berry jam, follow these steps:

In a saucepan, combine the berries, sweetener, water, and vanilla extract and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the chia seeds.


Cook the berry mixture for approximately 15 minutes, or until it thickens. Remove from the heat and cool in a saucepan before pouring into a jar and storing in the fridge.


Spread the peanut butter mousse over the jam just before serving, or pour the jam over the peanut butter mixture and top with the peanuts for added crunch. YUMMY!

This peanut butter mousse has a flavor that I can’t really explain! This recipe will satisfy your need for the traditional combo of butter and jam.

It tastes like the interior of a peanut butter cup if you simply use the peanut butter combination. If you want to try something new with the jam, try it on pancakes or ice cream.

I have a lot of favorite keto desserts, but this one is at the top of my list of all-time favorites. Because this meal is so big, it’s perfect for sharing with friends or serving at a party. I don’t believe anybody would notice it’s keto rather than sugar!
