- 1/4 cup sugar-free tomato sauce (or tomato paste)
- rice wine vinegar, 1/3 cup
- 1 teaspoon powdered garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 cup of water
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum (or guar gum )
Garnish with:
- chopped scallions
Instructions
To make the sauce, combine the following ingredients.

- Over medium heat, put all of the sauce ingredients, except the xanthan gum, in a saucepan; whisk well to incorporate.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the xanthan gum and cook, stirring periodically, for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Remove the pan from the heat and put it aside to cool fully.
For the chicken, prepare as follows:
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium heat, then pour in the oil and wait for it to heat up.
- In two shallow bowls, whisk together the eggs in one and the powdered parmesan and pepper in the other.
