I’ve been experimenting with keto-friendly breakfast sandwiches for a while now, and this recipe is my current favorite. It’s low carb, low in fat and high in protein, making it a terrific option for those following a keto or paleo diet.

My favorite breakfast is a Keto Breakfast Sandwich. It’s one of the easiest keto recipes that I have for you, and it’s also the best option for those who are, like me, not fans of cheese or eggs in their sandwiches. It’s made with two toaster waffles, which are cranked up to the highest settings and then dipped in butter before being toasted. It’s a simple but tasty keto breakfast recipe that can be prepped the night before, so there’s no reason not to try it out.

If you’re looking for something quick to make in the morning, this keto-friendly breakfast sandwich is a great choice. It’s quick, easy to make, and delicious. Plus, it’ll keep you full until lunch!

Birch Benders is featured in today’s amazing keto breakfast sandwich recipe, which is sponsored by them. They’ve just released a new range of toaster waffles, which includes plain and chocolate chip varieties. YUM! And, believe me, eating these easy-to-make, clean-ingredient toaster waffles makes me feel like a kid again.

Snacks from the store that we love!

Birch Benders’ keto toaster waffles have recently risen to the top of the list, and I’ll explain why. My brother recently relocated to Atlanta from Philadelphia, and he’s been staying with us for the past three weeks (and now visits on weekends), so we’ve been putting together a Sunday brunch spread that involves toasting a box or two of the waffles!

We also use their pancake mix frequently because Matt prefers pancakes and I prefer waffles. Other popular store-bought snacks include:

  1. Keto Bars (delicious ingredients!).
  2. Chips from the quest (great chip replacement and very low carb)
  3. Bars of Marigold (use coupon code: KETOCONNECT)

Keto Waffles with a Twist

Waffles are a well-known truth that are one of America’s favorite foods, but as more individuals go to a low-carb diet, waffles are being removed off the list of foods. Waffles have a special place in my heart because I grew up going to Blue Fountain Dinner with my family and always getting a large stack of waffles and never failing to drown them with butter and syrup.

I can now relive my childhood days, and you may as well. The birch benders toaster waffles come in two flavors, so you may use the basic ones for breakfast, lunch, or supper sandwiches, or the chocolate chip ones for a quick snack!

When you’re entertaining guests, you may cut them into little squares and serve them with fun toothpicks, low carb maple syrup, and homemade whip cream as brunch appetizers.

Finally, there’s a waffle bar for the whole family, which is my personal favorite. Toast a big batch of these waffles (or mix your own with different protein powder flavors) and serve with low-carb toppings like maple syrup, whipped cream, chocolate chips, nuts, and sprinkles! To me, that seems like the ideal Sunday.

Two Breakfast Sandwiches on the Keto Diet

We’re not suggesting you have to make keto breakfast sandwiches using toaster waffles, but if you don’t, you’ll be making a huge mistake! It’s salty, slightly sweet, has a variety of fillings, and provides the ideal tongue feel of flavors and textures. We pledge not to lead you astray. Instructions:

Waffles cooked from scratch

  • In a small mixing basin, whisk together all of the ingredients. Whisk until there are no clumps and everything is fully blended.

  • Preheat your waffle iron till it’s ready to use. Open the can and spray it with coconut oil spray before pouring in half of the batter. Close the waffle iron and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until it stops steaming.

  • To create two small waffles, repeat with the remaining batter. With the same batter, you can produce one huge waffle!

  • Fry the bacon until it’s crispy and cooked through, then place it on a paper towel-lined dish to drain.

  • Crack four eggs into the hot bacon oil (for a round shape, use mason jar rings as seen in the video below) and cook thoroughly, flipping until the bottom is crunchy. If you want medium or hard eggs, break the yolk before turning and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  • Cover each egg with 1/2 oz cheddar and a baking tray or lid to let the cheese to melt onto the eggs. Place on a platter and set away.

  • On a plate, arrange a birch bender toaster waffle and a handcrafted waffle. Stack 2 eggs and cheese on each waffle, then top with two pieces of bacon and finish with the remaining waffles.

  • Serve right away! It’s best to consume it straight away because it doesn’t keep well.
