I am a huge fan of goat cheese when it comes to making a plate of finger food for a party. I feel it is less likely to be neglected than other cheeses, such as cheddar or feta, and is also the easiest cheese to present. It creates a beautiful balance among the other ingredients, and is absolutely delicious.

BALSAMIC GLAZE ON GOAT CHEESE STEAK
Instructions
-
Preheat your grill to high.
-
Bring the balsamic vinegar to a boil in a saucepan. For 15 to 20 minutes, stir periodically until the vinegar has reduced by approximately 1/3 and is syrupy. Reduce the heat to low and keep it on the burner until it turns syrupy.
-
Season both sides of each steak with salt and pepper.
-
Cook for 2-3 minutes on the grill with the meat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side. Cooking durations may vary based on the size and thickness of each steak, as well as how you like your steaks cooked. Allow the goat cheese to gently melt in the last minute of cooking.
-
Remove the steaks from the grill and set aside for 3 minutes before serving.
-
Drizzle the balsamic reduction over each steak. To serve, garnish with parsley.
