In this recipe, I use the bacon to hold the cheese in place, so that when it melts, it gets all melty, and the heat of the jalapeno and bacon make this recipe super spicy!

- To remove the jalapeo seeds, I suggest using oven mitts! It’s not hilarious if you’ve ever peeled and cut a jalapeo and accidently struck your eyes!
- Before filling the jalapeos, season the cream cheese filling with fresh herbs or crushed spices. We usually use regular cream cheese, but you can flavor it with spices like garlic or onion powder. Green onions, chopped, are also a wonderful addition!
- Fried jalapeo peppers are also an option. Bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees on a baking pan, or until bacon is crisp.

Remove the seeds from the jalapenos by cutting them in half lengthwise.

Cut the uncooked bacon pieces in half and wrap each jalapeo in half.

Preheat a hot air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit and cook the poppers for 14 minutes.
(Note: depending on the thickness of the bacon and peppers, cooking durations may vary somewhat.) It’s quite simple to turn it off and add a few minutes till it’s done to your liking).
