We Tried Chef Piggy Tail Pork Rinds & They’re Magical
The only way I can describe Chef Piggy Tail Pork Rinds is that they’re like the most addictive pork rinds you’ve ever had, but better. They’re crispy and salty and have the perfect amount of chew. The flavor is amazing and the pork rinds are so perfect that they don’t even need any sauce. The only thing I don’t like about them is that it’s hard to find them.
Microwavable pork rinds?

Chef Piggy Tail’s microwaveable pork crackers were recently tested by Colleen, Stetson, and myself. When the luggage came, I was a bit dubious. It was a black bag with tiny rectangular bits that resembled small glass tiles inside. I was curious as to how they become pig rinds.
Let’s get this party started…
The steps are straightforward: Microwave the pork rind grains for approximately 90 seconds on high, spread out on a paper plate or napkin. Wow, it was truly that simple!
Please keep in mind that microwave cooking times vary based on the power level, so you may need to add approximately 10 seconds to the cooking time if the containers aren’t completely filled.
You may bake them in the oven, in a hot air fryer, or even in a deep fryer if you really want to go all out. But, because no one had time for that, I used the microwave instead!

Only pork and salt are used in the original/simple taste.
The fact that there are no unnecessary ingredients in the original/simple version I tested is one of my favorite things about these pork rinds. I also appreciate that I can prepare individual servings at a time since I typically purchase a bag of pork rinds and they expire before I finish them.
Chipotle, Cinnamon Sugar, Habanero, Jalapeo, Bold Red Pepper, and Smoked BBQ are among the other flavors offered. They are unfortunately incompatible with the keto diet since they all contain sugar. Chef Grundel may, however, produce an exclusive keto line in the future!
Chef Pork’s pork rinds swelled up and gave me the crunch I want! I’ve used them to dip in homemade guacamole and salsa, but they can be used for anything… even to make nachos instead of chips! YUMMY!
Undecided? Chef’s Pig Tail explains why Collin and Stetson like pork rinds…
Those pork rinds are the most incredible things I’ve ever seen! I couldn’t believe that one package of pork rinds could produce two gallons of pork rinds! They were crisp and fresh, and ideal for queso and keto salsa, in my opinion. When I’m watching a movie with my husband, I’ll prepare a small batch of them and use them as a popcorn replacement! Hello, microwave pork rinds, and goodbye, popcorn! – mountain
I must confess, I was perplexed when I first opened the bag, assuming it wouldn’t include pig rinds. What a fool I was! They were excellent, and I would eat them again in a heartbeat. Stetson –
