Preparation of the Filling:

  • In a pan, heat the oil and cook the chopped onion until tender. Fry for 2 minutes with the chicken and mushroom.
  • Cook for two minutes after adding the ginger, garlic, pepper, and salt.
  • Cook for another minute after adding the coriander leaves and green onion. Remove the pan from the heat and set it aside.

Preparation of White Sauce:

  • In a nonstick pan over medium low heat, melt the butter. Lightly fry the flour.
  • Then add the milk, salt, and pepper to the pan and stir constantly until it thickens somewhat.
  • Add the cooked chicken and mushroom at this point. Mix thoroughly.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and set it aside to cool.

How to Make a Roll Wrapper

  • Combine flour, egg, salt, and water to make a batter. In a blender, combine all of the ingredients until they are well combined.
  • Using oil, grease a nonstick pan. Heat on a medium heat setting.
  • Form 5” diameter rounds with 1/4 cup batter. Cook the pancakes on one side only, then remove them and set them aside.

To create the rolls, follow these steps:

  • Keep the filling on the pancake’s uncooked side. On the side facing you, make a line with the filling. Make sure there is enough space around the edges. Fold the wrapper/left pancake’s and right edges over the mixture.
  • Pull the edge of the pancake away from you and roll it over the filling. Fold the roll in half again.
  • Using the flour paste suggested in the notes, seal the edges.
  • Dip the roll in a combination of gently beaten egg, flour, and water, then roll it in breadcrumbs until well covered.
  • Fill a frying pan partly with oil and heat it up. Fry these rolls till brown and crisp in the oil.
  • Serve with Tomato Ketchup or Sweet Chilli Sauce while it’s still hot.
