Sprouts: Growing sprouts isn’t difficult. Sprouting takes a bit longer in the cold than it does on hot days. Moong beans germinate more faster than other beans. To prepare sprouts, first rinse and clean the beans in a dish with water. Then pour water over the beans, cover, and let to soak overnight. The following day, discard the water. Tie the beans in a damp cotton towel and store them in a covered container for two days.

Sprouts may be stored in the refrigerator for up to two days. Sprouts are a great source of vitamins and minerals. They have minimal antinutrients, allowing the body to absorb all of the nutrients they contain. Similarly, they are beneficial to diabetic people. Because they keep blood sugar levels in check. They are used to create chaat, salads, and may also be consumed raw.

Ghee and spices: Ghee gives this dish a great taste. You may also use oil instead of ghee. The dish, however, will not be the same without ghee. Ghee is all-natural and has anti-inflammatory and cancer-fighting qualities.

Cumin seeds, pepper, chili powder, and red chilis are among the spices used in this khichdi. Chopped ginger and garlic are also added to the mix. Chili peppers boost metabolism and give a kick to this meal.

Cumin seeds are sometimes known as jeera rice. This dish pairs nicely with any gravy-based curry. Only a few ingredients are required for this dish. To prepare this rice, start by heating the oil in a skillet. Add the entire spices, such as cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, maze, and bay leaf, after that. Fry for 1 minute. After that, toss in the cumin seeds and green chili.

Fry till they become fragrant. After that, add the soaked rice, mix, and cook for another 2 minutes. This procedure is very beneficial to the delicious rice. After that, pour in the water and cover the pan with the lid to cook. Serve immediately with chopped coriander leaves on top.

Dum biryani with vegetables:

  • To make this meal, start by slicing the onions and frying them till golden brown. Crispy is the goal.
  • After that, add the spices and ginger garlic paste to the pan. Cook until the raw taste has gone.
  • After that, add the cut vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, and french beans. Vegetables of your choosing may be added.
  • Then season with salt, chili powder, and garam masala, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • After that, pour in the yogurt and swirl it around in the pan. After that, close the top and boil the vegetables.
  • The vegetables should be soft. In the meanwhile, simmer the rice with the shahi jeera and bay leaf until it is 70% done.
  • Place the layer of vegetable mix in the bottom of a pressure cooker or a thick-bottomed pan.
  • Sprinkle fried onions, biryani masala, chopped mint, and coriander leaves over the rice on top of the veggie mixture.
  • Re-enact the same procedure. Cover the top with saffron milk and a plate, then cover the borders with atta or silver foil.
  • This maintains the internal pressure required to cook the biryani. Place this on a hot Tawa and cook on a medium heat now.
  • Serve the biryani with raita and curry while it’s still hot.
