COOKIE BAR CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS
Parchment paper is the key to having every single cookie bar cut and looking flawless. I used to get irritated while making desserts in a 9X13 or sheet pan because I always felt like I was ruining the whole first row trying to pull them out! Then I found that if you use parchment paper to line the pan, you can easily remove all of the cookie bars and slice them precisely.
If you don’t have parchment paper, oil your pan as normal; however, your first row may not be as beautiful! This recipe for cookie bars is one of the simplest to cut into pieces, and they hold together far better than many other sweets.
