As if low carb dieting wasn’t hard enough, it’s been proven time and again that following a low carb diet can have some pretty serious drawbacks. The main issue is that it’s difficult to find foods to fit into your diet that taste decent.
The best way to try out a low carb lifestyle is by making low carb chicken meatballs. These low carb chicken meatballs are made with ground chicken meat, eggs, and almond flour. I used to make these low carb chicken meatballs with regular breadcrumbs, but it made them dry and hard to work with. I have always been a lover of the classic meatball. All flavors, shapes, and sizes are welcome in my house. Chicken meatballs are often synonymous with Italian cuisine, which is no surprise as it is their most popular type of meatball. This dish was inspired by J. Kenji Lopez-Alt, one of our favorite chefs, but we changed it up by using chicken meatballs instead of beef meatballs. However, you should know that I am a big lover of all meatballs, regardless of their form, meat, or spices, so I was really eager to create them. My favorite part is combining all of the ingredients and making the balls with my hands.
Chicken Meatballs Baked in the Oven
The oven is certainly my favorite way of cooking any meatball! Preparing meatballs in the oven beats cooking them in a pan, where there’s a danger of overcooking or undercooking the meat. Chicken meatballs baked in the oven are sure to be more juicy than those cooked any other way! There’s hardly nothing more depressing than a dried-out meatball buried under a sauce. These are so delicious that they don’t even need a sauce.
Ground Chicken Meatballs at Their Finest
The components I utilized are what make these ground chicken meatballs the finest. In terms of taste, a little bit of everything goes a long way! When preparing meats, soy sauce is a hidden weapon that should always be used. Bread crumbs aren’t even required since the grated parmesan and egg help bond the meat. To be honest, you may use whatever spices you like, but what we’ve given you with below is a wonderfully balanced recipe for delicious low carb chicken meatballs.
