I ate kielbasa and macaroni and cheese as a kid. They were usually found together. Naturally, I prepared the same meal for my children. I wanted to come up with a new approach to include kielbasa in a more adult-oriented dinner. Everything was answered in this recipe! The bite-size pepper bits, potato, and kielbasa work so well together. Everything tastes so rich and delicious thanks to the dry ranch seasoning. It’s easy to make, but it’s not short on flavor!
What exactly is kielbasa?
Kielbasa is a generic word that refers to a variety of Polish sausages. The term literally translates to “sausage.” Pork flesh, salt, and different spices and herbs such as pepper, garlic, and marjoram are often used. We deliberately chose beef for this dish since we like the taste and prefer it over pork.

- Kielbasa (beef)

To create our Kielbasa and Pepper Skillet, follow these steps:
Turn the stovetop to medium heat and place a skillet on top of it. Set all of the ingredients next to the burner, diced into bite-size pieces.
Place the potatoes in the pan and cook for approximately 10 minutes, stirring periodically. When the edges have become a beautiful crispy brown, it’s time to go on to the following stage.
After that, toss in the diced kielbasa with the potatoes. Cover with a cover and stir periodically. Allow it simmer for approximately 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure equal cooking.
Add the red and yellow bell peppers to the pot and simmer for another 5 minutes, or until the peppers are just soft.

- 1 (16 oz.) container chopped smoked beef kielbasa sausage
- 6 medium diced red potatoes
- 1 sliced red bell pepper
- 1 sliced yellow bell pepper

- All of the ingredients should be diced into bite-sized bits.
- Heat a skillet on the stovetop over medium heat.
- Cook potatoes in a pan for 5-6 minutes, or until the edges begin to brown.
- Toss in the kielbasa. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook for a further 5 minutes after adding the bell peppers.
- Pour the ranch seasoning over the top and thoroughly mix it in.
- Remove the pan from the heat and serve!
