With so much attention being given to the ketogenic diet lately, it’s time we do a bit of digging into this smart, low-carb, high-fat way of eating. One of the most well-known keto apps for dieters is KetoDiet, which allows you to track your macros, track your calories, and visualize how you’d look if you’d lost all the weight you want.
I had to create this recipe for a family cookout we had recently, and I loved it so much I decided to share it with all of you! It’s a fruit and vegetable based chili, and it’s great for making up a big batch. I like to use a mix of all fresh veggies and serve it with top notch gluten free corn tortillas. I also like to add some cilantro, and sometimes even a little sliced avocado, which is a great healthy fat for the body. <– skip to recipe
We are big fans of tacos, and we’re big fans of Mexican food. Coming up with healthy, protein-filled recipes that don’t require meat is a tricky task, but it doesn’t have to be. This recipe gives you a scrumptious, protein-filled meal with pureed ingredients, served with a side of creamy, flavorful refried beans and a side of crunchy, flavorful tortillas.
Tortillas and keto chili
Chili has never tasted better than when made in your slow cooker, keto-style. There’ll be plenty of time for the Mexican spices to do their thing. This spicy dish is made much better with a handmade low-carb tortilla and creamy toppings!

Combine the ingredients for the Tex-Mex seasoning in a small bowl.
Abridged version
You may cook the seasoned ground beef combination in a skillet if you don’t have a slow cooker… or just don’t have time. Cook until the meat is tender and juicy.
Tip!
Make a big pot of chili and keep it in the freezer for a fast evening meal. It’s great in a bowl with cheese, diced tomatoes or peppers, and crème fraîche on top.
You may also create smaller tortillas if you like tacos. You’ll be able to effortlessly grasp them with your hands this way! You may also add some shredded cheese and chopped fresh cilantro on the top to make it more interesting.

When I was younger I would make my mom cook me tacos and burritos all the time, but as I got older I became less interested in spicy food and more interested in healthy food. I started making low carb and keto Mexican food and I was amazed at how well I could still eat the foods I loved. However, my tacos were always missing something: tortillas..
