. . .
There are so many different ways to enjoy Taco Dip. Some like it with tortilla chips, some like it with crispy corn taco shells, and some like it with a tostada. We made our own version with Brie and it was so good, we can’t stop eating it. Try it with your favorite tortilla chips, crispy corn taco shells or a tostada the next time you’re having Taco night.
The Brie Cheese Taco Dip is a great party dish because it can be made in advance and is versatile. It can be made in a slow cooker for company or in the oven for individual servings. You can easily add more ingredients to make it your own by adding different cheese to the mixture. You can substitute the chili powder with cumin for a spicier dip. You can also add hot sauce or jalapenos.
Dips and appetizers are meant to be simple to prepare and always tasty, and our Taco Dip Made Simple recipe is no exception. It mixes a big wheel of brie cheese with delectably seasoned beef to make the ideal low-carb appetizer for your next party or movie night!
We’ve got a simple taco seasoning recipe for you.
Some may believe the big wheel of brie cheese is the star of the show, but for me, it’s the simple taco seasoning used to spice up the ground beef. Because it’s so easy and homemade, there’s no need to be concerned about the additional sugar in store-bought taco seasoning packets. You should always utilize a mix of:
- Powdered chili
- Cumin
- Oregano
- Powdered garlic
- Paprika
- Cayenne
- Salt
When you use all of those tastes together, you can’t go wrong! We have all of those things on hand because you can use them in whatever meat you’re cooking and it’ll turn out great. You may even prepare it ahead of time and keep it on your counter top or in the fridge (for longer freshness) to use whenever you want.

Recipes for the Best Dips – Keto Style!
A excellent dip, in my opinion, must have a wonderful tongue feel and a lot of flavor. For example, this simple taco dip recipe ticks all of the “best dip” boxes. Spice, creaminess, crunch, and fatty beef are all present. Our low carb pizza dip and chorizo dip are two of my other favorite dips that fit into the “greatest dip” category. I also like making a large dish of egg salad with bacon pieces and onions, which I serve with zucchini for dipping! You can’t go wrong with high-fat components like cream cheese, heavy cream, and/or mayonnaise. However, dips may be hazardous, so do yourself a favor and divide it out into Tupperware containers if you prepare it in bulk so you don’t regret the heavy feeling you get after eating a lot of dairy!
Taco Dip Made Simple
Whatever you do with your melted brie cheese wheel, make sure it’s filled with something tasty. By no means does it have to be taco meat. You may make a pizza-style pizza with pepperoni, onions, and tomato sauce, or a buffalo chicken pizza with shredded chicken thighs and buffalo sauce. Simply do yourself a favor and prepare this simple taco dip as soon as possible!

Time to prepare: 35 minutes
Instructions:
-
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
Unwrap the brie and create a rim around the top of the rind with a knife, leaving a little edge around it.
-
Carefully peel off the rind with your knife or your fingers, revealing the cheese.
-
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is clearly melted, in an oven-safe pan (we used a 6 inch).
-
While the cheese is melting, cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once the meat is halfway cooked, add the spices, onion, and tomato.
-
Cook for another 3 minutes, or until the onion and tomato are soft.
-
Remove from the fire and put aside until the brie has finished baking.
-
Remove the brie cheese and top it with a portion of the ground beef mixture, leaving the rest of the meat to the sides. Toss with a spoon or tongs to mix the meat and cheese.
-
Serve with vegetables, pork rinds, or cauliflower rice as soon as possible!
-
Refrigerate for up to 7 days in an airtight container. If preferred, reheat in the microwave, or serve cold.
