The ketogenic diet is an effective and healthy way to lose weight. It is a high fat, adequate protein, low carb diet. While the diet has many followers, it is not for everyone. However, if you are in the mood for a sweet breakfast that won’t bust your macros, you’re in luck! This French Toast is low carb, Keto friendly and an all-star flavor combination!

Today I am making Easy Keto French Toast (Less Than 3g Net Carbs) using eggs, milk, cream cheese, parsnip, and coconut oil. I am also using a pan that doesn’t have to be greased as much as the cast iron one.

Breakfast has returned!

There’s nothing quite like a plate of delectable French toast for breakfast or brunch, yet they’re notoriously heavy in sugar and carbohydrates.

Today I’m sharing my most recent invention with you: keto French toast! Inspired by Keto Sam I Am’s spring roll, I initially modified the spring roll foundation and decided to take it up a level by slicing and breadcrumbs to truly resemble French toast! Without the additional carbohydrates, this dish provides the sweet and salty flavor you’ve been craving.

Simple and nice!

When I claim this is the simplest keto bread you’ll ever cook, I’m not joking. My family requests keto French toast for breakfast on a regular basis, so I prepare it at least once a week.

This carb-free bread has a French toast taste thanks to brown sugar and nutmeg!

To make the finest keto French toast, follow these guidelines:

  • If you’re craving something salty instead of sweet, consider topping your toast with ham, bacon, and cheese! You can simply just leave it out and make a keto sandwich with the bread. YUMMY!
  • If you don’t bake it long enough, the bread may turn out to be pudding. If it takes a few more minutes to cook, cover the baking sheet with foil to prevent the top from burning.

TIME TO PREPARE: 10 MINUTES

TIME TO COOK: 40 MINUTES

50 MINUTES TOTAL TIME

We transform a low-carb spring roll into French toast. Without the additional carbohydrates, you’ll feel like you’re eating real food!

  • 8 boiled eggs (at room temperature)
  • 8 on room temperature cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp room temperature butter
  • Swerve 2 Esslöffel bars
  • 1 teaspoon powdered baking soda
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • nutmeg (1/2 teaspoon)

Finishing touches (optional):

1

Make sure all of the ingredients are at room temperature before starting. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. To keep the baking dish from sticking, brush it with coconut oil or line it with baking paper.

2

In a blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until smooth.

3

Fill a loaf pan halfway with dough and bake for 35-40 minutes, depending on thickness.

4

Before slicing the bread, take it out of the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Serve the slices alone or toast them on the stove with butter for authentic French toast. UM.

5

1 tablespoon butter, melted in a pan over medium-high heat, is used to toast the bread pieces. Fry a couple pieces of toasted bread for approximately 1 minute on each side in a pan.

6

Take the toast out of the skillet and top it with the ketone-friendly syrup. Have a blast!
