Breakfast has returned!
There’s nothing quite like a plate of delectable French toast for breakfast or brunch, yet they’re notoriously heavy in sugar and carbohydrates.
Today I’m sharing my most recent invention with you: keto French toast! Inspired by Keto Sam I Am’s spring roll, I initially modified the spring roll foundation and decided to take it up a level by slicing and breadcrumbs to truly resemble French toast! Without the additional carbohydrates, this dish provides the sweet and salty flavor you’ve been craving.
Simple and nice!
When I claim this is the simplest keto bread you’ll ever cook, I’m not joking. My family requests keto French toast for breakfast on a regular basis, so I prepare it at least once a week.
This carb-free bread has a French toast taste thanks to brown sugar and nutmeg!
To make the finest keto French toast, follow these guidelines:
- If you’re craving something salty instead of sweet, consider topping your toast with ham, bacon, and cheese! You can simply just leave it out and make a keto sandwich with the bread. YUMMY!
- If you don’t bake it long enough, the bread may turn out to be pudding. If it takes a few more minutes to cook, cover the baking sheet with foil to prevent the top from burning.
