The HCG Diet is a diet plan that promises to help people lose weight quickly. It’s also been used as a treatment for obesity, diabetes, and other conditions. Alcohol is not allowed on the Phase 3 of this diet because it can cause dehydration and increase cravings.

Is it okay for me to drink alcohol during Phase 3 of the HCG Diet?
HCG Dieters have been asking me a lot of questions lately on the HCGrecipes blog and Facebook page regarding drinking wine while on Phase 3. The answer is a resounding YES! You may celebrate this holiday season with a drink or bottle of wine while on Phase 3. It’s crucial, though, to do it properly the first time. Select the RIGHT cocktail, liquor, wine, or beverage. So I’m going to give you some pointers on how to maintain your weight while still enjoying a merry holiday drink on P3.
First and foremost, the DONT’S. While on P3, stay away from sugary mixers, sweet liqueurs like Bailey’s, Amaretto, and sugar-based flavored martinis, sweet dessert wines, pure fruit juices, and excessive alcohol. However, in moderation, you may enjoy a wide range of different drinks and wines. Cocktails with sparkling water or tonic water, lemon, lime, or simply a dash of natural fruit juice for taste are some of the finest for P3 of the HCG Diet.
Vodka, whiskey, gin, and tequila, as well as other non-sweet distilled alcohols, are acceptable, and one or two drinks should not result in weight gain or a difficulty with stability the following day. When making a cocktail, limit yourself to a dash of fruit juice (cranberry, apple, or orange) and sparkling water, or serve straight, neat, or on the rocks. Pure fruit juices are high in fructose, which may make it difficult to stay on P3. Make your own tropical fruity blended cocktails using entire fresh or frozen fruit, coconut, cream, ice, and Stevia for sweetness.
Other alcoholic drinks to try on the Stabilization Phase 3 include beer and wine. I prefer red wine over white wine because of the resveratol, and I’d like to point out that red wines contain not only more antioxidants but also less carbohydrates than white wines. In moderation, dry champagne and sparkling wines are also acceptable.
Other Christmas beverage options include a hot cup of Stevia-sweetened cocoa, mulled and spiced wine, or a cup of homemade Egg Nog prepared with real cream and a touch of nutmeg. So, this Holiday Season, CELEBRATE WITH CONFIDENCE and toast with Joy! You may enjoy a variety of festive beverages with friends and family while staying on track with your diet.
