COOKIES IN A CAKE MIX
Making cookies from a boxed cake mix is one of my favorite things to do. It not only saves time in the kitchen, but it also ensures that the cookies are soft and chewy. These peanut butter and chocolate cake mix cookies are no exception. They taste just as good as they look, with a delicious chocolate and peanut butter flavor combo.

Chocolate cake mix — You can use any regular-sized box of chocolate cake mix, so go ahead and pick your favorite!
Butter — Most cookie recipes call for softened butter rather than melted butter, although molten butter works better in cake mix cookies. Because cake mix cookie dough is thick, the melted butter will make them simpler to work with.
I use normal creamy peanut butter, but crunchy peanut butter would also be delicious. I haven’t tried a more natural peanut butter in this recipe, but natural peanut butter hasn’t worked out so well in previous cookie recipes.
