It’s a good bet you’ve tried Greek yogurt in the form of the traditional soft serve, but have you ever tried it in dip form? I recently tested out this simple recipe to make a Greek yogurt dip that is simple to make, can be easily customized, and has a subtle pumpkin flavor that works well with the Greek yogurt’s creamy texture.

I’m a sucker for Greek yogurt, and in the fall when pumpkins are everywhere, I’m always finding reasons to bake with them. My latest creation is this pumpkin Greek yogurt dip, which is perfect for taking to a party, a get-together, or as a snack during the day.

Okay, this one is a little different, as it is NOT about a recipe but about a dip. This is a delicious and easy recipe to make your own pumpkin Greek yogurt dip. It is also a great way to use up extra Greek yogurt that you may have in the refrigerator.. Read more about pumpkin dip without cream cheese and let us know what you think.

My spouse is a huge fan of chips and dip. He reaches for chips and salsa or apples and peanut butter while supper is still cooking or he needs a snack. I wanted to make something that he could grab and eat during the week, as well as something that I could utilize for our Thanksgiving gatherings.

How do you make pumpkin pie filling without the pumpkin?

If you only have pumpkin puree and a recipe that asks for canned pie filling, you may simply substitute it for the canned pie filling. 2/3 cup pumpkin puree should be saved for another dish after opening the can. Simply combine 2/3 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg with 1/3 cup canned pumpkin.

Is it possible to use fresh pumpkin instead of canned pumpkin?

Yes, you certainly can! Simply use the same amount of fresh puree instead of canned puree (1 cup fresh puree for 1 cup canned). One thing to keep in mind is that fresh pumpkin has more moisture than canned puree pumpkin. Allow time for your fresh pumpkin puree to drain any extra liquid.
