This blog is about whiskey, mixed drinks, and cocktails. A whiskey sage is a very simple drink that is great for people who enjoy whiskey, but don’t want to have a full-fledged drink just yet. It is a winter cocktail, so it is a great time to drink a whiskey sage. The whiskey sage is a whiskey and a sage-based drink. The whiskey is a whiskey, and the sage is a sage-based drink.
Whiskey Sage is a winter cocktail that’s perfect for the holidays. I made this recipe for my partner for Christmas. He loves whiskey, so I thought of making a drink that features the smoothness of it. I used the whiskey of my choice. I was thinking of how to keep it light, not too strong. I had the idea to use fresh sage leaves to make it more of a winter drink. The flavor is also very similar to that of warm cinnamon cookies.
As the harsh winter weather starts to take its toll on both the body and the mind, it’s time to reach for that first drink of the year. The perfect first drink should be one that will warm you up from the inside out, and one that will help you forget about all of the things that have been bothering you lately.
If there was ever a cocktail that had it all, this is it!
This whiskey-sage drink has a subtle and rich taste.
Not to mention attractive!
Sexy.
Spicy rye whiskey lightened with a simple syrup flavored with earthy sage, delightfully acidic grapefruit and lime juices, and a dash of bitters to bring out the best in everything!

Note
In the colder winter months, this Whiskey Sage Cocktail is a wonderful cocktail to enjoy. Bring 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 1/2 cup coarsely chopped sage leaves to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly, to create sage simple syrup. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool fully. Strain into a jar, cover firmly, and keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.

One of my favorite winter cocktails, Whiskey Sage is a great starter when guests are coming over. The whiskey, sage, honey, and bitters are all things that are welcomed in the winter, but what makes this drink great is the orange flavor. The orange twists are tough but you can just let them sit out for a few minutes before you serve them. Make sure not to put the orange twists in the drink, but instead have them on the side to decorate.. Read more about vodka sage cocktail and let us know what you think.
