To make the avocado sauce, combine the following ingredients in a mixing bowl.

In a food processor, combine the avocado, oil, cilantro, lime juice, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, and cayenne pepper. Check the consistency and add 14 cup of water gradually. The sauce should be rich yet creamy at the same time (not liquid). Remove it from the equation.

In the case of fish,

In a small dish, combine the spices. Then coat both sides of the fish slices with the sauce. In a nonstick pan, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil. Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 5 minutes on each side. The fish may then be released with ease.

To make the filling:

Chop the garnish to taste while the tilapia is cooking (shredded cabbage, diced onion, diced tomato, fresh cilantro, chopped lime).


In a pan or microwave, heat 8 corn tortillas according to package instructions.

Place one half of each fish on each tortilla and cut in half lengthwise (2 tortillas per person). Toss each tortilla with the avocado sauce. To taste, top with preferred toppings. With a quarter of a lime, serve.
