- Fill a dish halfway with boiling water and swell 1 handful of yellow grapes.
- In a large mixing basin, whisk together the egg, granulated sugar, and 2 cups brown sugar until the mixture has almost doubled in size and the color has lightened. Continue whisking in the milk and sunflower oil.
- Combine the grated carrots, roughly chopped walnuts, and grated grapes in a mixing bowl. Combine the vanillin, baking powder, and 1 teaspoon baking soda in a mixing bowl.
- Preheat the oven to 180°F, top rack, no fan, and oil and flour a 24 cm clamp cake form before pouring the batter into it.
- Set the wire on the bottom shelf of the oven and place the cake on it. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes in this manner. Check after 20 minutes by inserting a toothpick into the center. The cake is done when the toothpick comes out dry.

- Mix 2 soup spoons of sugar with half a glass of milk. Pour this mixture over top of the hot cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
- Remove the cake milk from the mold and set it aside until it has reached room temperature.
