- 1 pound ground beef, lean
- 12 CUP BAKED BREADCRUMBS
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup
- 2 tsp Mustard (Ground)
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 TBS WORCESTERSHIRE SEASONING
- 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 CUP BROWN BEEF
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
In a large mixing bowl, mix together all of the ingredients for the salisbury steak until the seasoning is equally distributed. 1 inch spherical balls should be formed.
Heat the oil in a big cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the meatballs until they are golden brown on both sides and fully done. Remove the pan from the heat and put it aside.
Drain extra fat from the same pan, leaving 2-3 tablespoons in the pan. Stir in the flour until it is well combined with the fat.
Stir in the beef broth until the flour is completely incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste after adding the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a low boil, then reduce to a low heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until the gravy has thickened. Serve the meatballs with gravy on top. Enjoy!
If you want to avoid a mess, fry your bacon in the oven and use 2 tbsp melted butter instead of bacon grease in the gravy.
