Paula Deen’s Oxtails are a Southern dish that is best served with mashed potatoes and cornbread. This recipe can be made in the oven or on the stovetop, but it will require a slow cooker as well.
Paula Deen’s Sexy Oxtails are delicious, and the dish only takes about fifteen minutes to prepare! Simply put it in the oven, set the timer for when and how long you want it to cook, and walk away.
The meat falls off the bones tender and the stock is rich thanks to the slow braising of the oxtails.
Paula’s spice outperforms every other flavor I’ve tried for slow cooking red beef, from French onion soup to fresh herbs.
The recipe is so good that I’ve used it to prepare beef roasts as well. I adore how the home smells while it’s cooking.
I typically add some root veggies around 30 minutes before it’s done. This method of cooking potatoes is so delicious that they don’t even need butter.
It’s so delicious that it’s falling off the bone!
