Why Do We Enjoy Baked Chicken Thighs So Much?
Baked chicken thighs guarantee a juicy piece of chicken, and there’s nothing worse than dinnertime chicken that’s dried up. When it comes to preparing chicken thighs, no matter what the recipe asks for, we always use the same technique. Our go-to technique is:
- Heat a large enough skillet over medium-high heat so the thighs aren’t on top of one another.
- Cook the thighs on the stove top until they’re 80 percent done, approximately four minutes each side, using a little oil in the pan. You want the outside to be crispy.
- Finish the thighs in the oven at 350°F for 10-12 minutes, or until completely done.
I guarantee you’ll get a juicy chicken thigh every time, and this recipe is no exception. You can’t go wrong with a delicious sauce and creamy goat cheese on top!
What Is It About This Sauce That Makes It So Special?
To be honest, not much. It just takes four basic ingredients, and it’s always wonderful. When purchasing roasted red peppers, just be sure you read the label. Always keep an eye out for roasted red peppers in your water! You may also adjust the seasoning to your preferences, but I’ve found that a few garlic cloves makes all the difference. The peppers have a lot of taste, so you don’t want to mask it with too many spices.
