In the past month, I’ve started to eat keto and it’s been an aha experience (for those of you who don’t know what that means, it means I’ve been dying to eat keto). Here’s the thing—Keto has become a fad. Every time somebody sees a high carb, low fat meal at a restaurant they say “Keto” in their head and get all excited. Before you know it, everybody’s doing it. It’s like the McDonald’s free soda in the cup is a trend. Keto has gotten so popular because people think that it’s easy. It’s not. Getting into a keto diet is a little bit like rolling a ball into the cup. You can’t just stop it from falling down and you can’t stop it from staying in the cup.
It’s hard to stick to a diet when your family is craving all of the food that you can’t have. It’s even harder when your family is adamant about making you eat “regular” food.
