Fresh blueberries have been incorporated into a delicious vanilla pudding cookie batter. They’re fluffy and sweet, and the blueberry taste is irresistible. Besides, I find that including fresh fruit into any dessert makes it more attractive to me, as well as a little healthier!
Ingredients for Blueberry Cream Cookies
-Sugar: To make these cookies sweet, use 1 cup granulated sugar.
-Butter: Using 1/2 cup softened butter will give each cookie a richer flavor.
-Egg: Use an egg to help bind the dough together and get the desired texture.
-Sour cream: Adding 1/3 cup sour cream to the cookie batter will give it a creamier texture and richer flavor.
-Pudding mix: A small box (3 ounces) of vanilla pudding mix (just the dry stuff) will add a lot of flavor and make the cookies a bit chewier.
-Salt: Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the cookies to enhance the taste.
-Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon baking soda will help the cookies puff up and leaven beautifully.
-Flour: The cookie dough will be made with 2 cups all-purpose flour.
-Chocolate: 1 cup white chocolate chips are required.
-Blueberries: 1 heaping cup cleaned and dried fresh blueberries
Blueberry Cream Cookies: How to Make Them
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cream the sugar and butter together in a mixing basin.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the egg, sour cream, pudding mix, salt, and baking soda. Stir everything together until it’s completely smooth.
One cup at a time, add the flour, mixing until smooth after each addition.
Add the white chocolate chips and mix well.
In the middle of the dough, make a shallow well and add the blueberries. Fold the dough over many times carefully, being careful not to squash the blueberries.
Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto a prepared cookie sheet.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 10-11 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool fully on a wire rack.
