If you are diabetic, monosodium glutamate (MSG) is probably one of the most toxic substances you consume on a daily basis. After reading the product analysis for the new line of Via Stevia products on Target.com, I decided to purchase my favorite product, Pure Via. The secret ingredient is stevia leaf extract, which is a natural sweetener that is 300-500 times sweeter than sugar, so you’ll never have to worry about sugar cravings again. So how does it taste? I put about a teaspoon in my tea and it tasted a little earthy, but great. It didn’t have the cloying after taste (so many stevia products have) but it had a very sweet flavor..
