There are many ways to make cake rusk. The most common way is in the oven, but you can also do it in a frying pan or on top of the stove. This recipe uses coconut oil and sugar to create a crispy crust that will hold up well under high heat.

The tea rusk recipe is a method that can be used to make crispy cake rusks at home. It involves soaking the flour in water, then adding it to boiling milk and sugar mixture.

Cake rusk is an Indian delicacy that you can make at home. You just need to bake the rusks twice. If you try making this cake rusk at home, I guarantee you will never purchase it from a shop again.

Methods Explained in Detail

  • Step No 1

Cream together the butter and sugar until it is smooth and creamy. Gradually add the egg until it becomes smooth and creamy. At this point, gently incorporate the shifting flour and baking powder into the wet components. This combination should be beaten for approximately 2 minutes, or until it seems smooth. Pour this mixture into the buttered cake pan and bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees. You may also bake this cake in a pressure cooker on the stove. Preheat the pressure cooker / patella on medium heat for 5 minutes, then bake for 35 minutes on low heat. Allow 8 to 10 minutes for cooling before cutting into thin slices; the rusks will be soft at this stage.

  • Step No 2

We’ll now bake the cake rusks again. Arrange the slices on the baking tray again, allowing some space between them, and bake for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove the tray from the oven and turn the rusks to bake the other sides in the same manner. After the second bake, each side should look dark golden brown. Allow the cake rusk to cool fully before storing them in an airtight container. Enjoy the cake rusk with a cup of tea.
