I have always been fascinated by the fitness industry. I have been a competitive swimmer since I was 4 years old, and I had done some competitive figure skating from the age of 7 through my teens. Although I have always been interested in fitness, I never thought I could do anything more than swim or skate.

Scott and Tiffany are a husband & wife team dedicated to helping people improve their lives through formative coaching, accountability and support. They have both suffered from weight issues themselves, and understand the frustration of not seeing the progress you want to see. The journey from the client to the coach took years to get to where they are today, but they are still learning and improving every day.

Scott & Tiffany are married, and after a divorce they decided to lose some weight and get healthy. They’re both busy professionals, so they had no time to go to the gym. They also wanted to get healthy together and had a hard time finding time to workout. They’d loved their previous trainer, but he’d moved away, so they went in search of a new one.

Scott was out of shape and overworked. Tiffany was tired of being stuck in a rut.

They joined Coaching in 2009, looking for a change.

After losing weight, building strength, and reinventing their life, Scott and Tiffany are now assisting future Coaching customers with a simple message: “We did it.” You can accomplish it as well.”

Fitness models go to great efforts to ensure that they appear their best in photographs.

They go to tanning beds and rub Preparation H on their stomachs to draw out even more water; they spend hours every day working out; they manipulate their carbohydrates and sodium to lose water weight quickly (this sharpens their definition); they go to tanning beds and rub Preparation H on their stomachs to draw out even more water (this sharpens their definition). They only pose for the camera after everything has been plucked, pulled in, tanned, pumped, and glossed.

None of these things have been done by Scott and Tiffany.

Nonetheless, they’re recording workouts and posing for pictures at Bang! Fitness in Toronto. They seem to be great. They’re now shooting the Coaching exercises, which are the same films they saw three years ago when undergoing their own physical changes.

Perform you want to learn how to do a push-up? You have no idea what a push-press is? You may now see Tiffany perform a flawless performance. Do you need a little more push to go to the gym? Just watch Scott do machine-like push-ups.

But what are Scott and Tiffany if not fitness models?

Of course, the fit and healthy next-door neighbors.

Scott adds, “We’re just ordinary folks.” “We want to show other individuals who are similar to us what is possible.”

Tiffany is someone you should get to know.

She typically keeps her hair in a high, tight ponytail at the gym so it doesn’t get in the way of her squats and deadlifts. This is due to the fact that the gym is where you concentrate your efforts.

But when she does her yoga postures — at least twice a week — she lets her hair down, since the yoga classroom is a place where you can be yourself.

She never needed to drop a lot of weight and was unconcerned with the numbers on the scale. Her pictures, on the other hand, highlight the beauty of shifting body composition.

She weighed 122 pounds in June 2009. She weighed 121 pounds in September 2011, a weight differential of… one pound.

However, such figures do not convey the whole picture. If you look closely, you can see the ten inches she lost as a result of the procedure. You’ll witness how she sculpted beautiful shoulders and a defined tummy by replacing fat with muscle.

And there’s something else the pictures don’t show: her newfound desire to assist others. She just received her certification and is in the process of quitting her stressful desk job to devote her full time to teaching yoga.

All of this will be revealed shortly. She now spends a few hours each day as a mentor on the Coaching forums, assisting women who are going through life transitions as part of the program.

What is the relationship between the mind, body, and spirit? Tiffany is her name.

Scott is someone you should get to know.

He has spiky hair, a thick English accent, and a passion for excellent beer and cuisine, but he doesn’t drink it very frequently.

He weighed 203 pounds in January 2009. He had lost 38 pounds and 12 percent body fat after six months of Coaching and was a finalist for the Coaching top award.

He’s back up to a muscular 203 pounds because to the Coaching program.

He gets up most mornings, showers, and flexes his biceps for his wife. He points to his biceps and adds, “Look at my biceps.” She chuckles as she rolls her eyes.

That’s Scott, buddy (as Chuck would say).

Let’s go back to 2005, when Scott and Tiffany were simply trying to get away from their stressful lives in England, and they took a plane to Toronto.

They left friends and family behind to relocate across continents, but in the era of technology and aircraft, returning home is as simple as pressing a button or taking a weekend trip. And the fact is that England had nothing left for them but hard working hours and a shattered heart due to Scott’s father’s death.

They could see the shore of Lake Ontario and the sky scrapers from the plane’s window. This was an opportunity to put oneself first for a change, to slow down and not be so concerned.

There was a blank canvas down below, an expanse of pure white paper ripe with possibilities.

Before the aircraft had touched down, Scott and Tiffany pulled out their markers and started drawing their new life – huge flourishes and sweeping lines.

It was supposed to be different this time.


Scott and Tiffany are in Ontario’s wine region.

Dr. John Berardi appears on the television, but Scott has no idea who he is. He just knows there’s a man on TV who makes healthy pizza.

Scott has spent the last few years in Toronto bouncing back and forth between good and bad habits. He and Tiffany joined a high-end gym, which serves as a sort of luxury one-stop shop for exercises, nutrition, and “lifestyle.” He dropped 30 pounds by eating rice cakes and exercising, but as soon as he bored of the junk food, he gained it back.

He shouts out from the living room, “Hey Tiff!” “Come over here and take a look at this man on TV.”

Tiffany enters the room.

She goes to the same gym as Scott, but it’s starting to seem a little boring. She eats the same things and works out the same way, but she doesn’t seem to be making any improvement. She isn’t out of shape in the least. But she’s not in the best of shape either.

“That seems to be good,” she adds, her gaze fixed on the television.

It’s a recipe section from a healthy-living program that they’re watching. Gourmet Nutrition, a guidebook with hundreds of nutritious dishes, is being used by Dr. Berardi to create a recipe.

They place an order for it.

Scott doesn’t even look at Gourmet Nutrition and the System when they arrive. Tiffany jumps right in.

She brings the book to her fitness club trainer, who is ecstatic.

The trainer exclaims, “This is absurd.” “This is for bodybuilders who want to participate in a show.”

Her illusion has been shattered. She puts the book back on the shelf and returns to the same program, meals, and trainer.

However, she receives an email advertising the 2009 Coaching group a few months later. She visits the website, where she finds John Berardi, the pizza delivery man, explaining how he can assist her.

On her computer, she has before-and-after pictures of men and women. They don’t seem to be bodybuilders, which is amusing.

Tiffany is a lady who takes action, therefore she enrolls in the program.

She then enrolls Scott as well. Just to be safe.

He’s watching a video on his iPhone on how to do it correctly. He’s already seen it three times despite the fact that it’s just a 14-second clip.

Tiffany exclaims, “Just go!”

“For the love of God, leave me alone!” he exclaims.

This is what is known as “couple fighting,” which is a kind of frank banter between individuals who have been together for a long time. Scott and Tiffany, on the other hand, aren’t actually mad at one other; they’re simply trying something new and frightening.

They’re at the gym, performing exercises they’ve never done before, and they have no idea how it’s supposed to feel or look. They think they’re dumb.

And, let’s face it, no one likes to seem foolish in front of their significant other.

This shyness, however, only lasts a short time. Because the second time you go through it, it will be easier. The third time was much simpler.

After a few weeks, it’s clear that Tiffany and Scott are no longer at odds. Tiffany and Scott are pitted against the rest of the gym.

“Everyone would stop and stare at us, unsure what we were doing,” Tiffany recalls. “And we were like, ‘People, we know what we’re doing over here.’” ‘What are you up to?’

They put themselves into Coaching wholeheartedly, bolstered by their newfound confidence.

They worked out together and cooked their meals at home. They discussed the lessons they were learning over supper and how they might assist each other improve.

Scott began to lose weight quickly, while Tiffany became stronger and developed lean muscle.

Scott explains, “We simply did everything they ordered us to do.”

And that was the end of it.

Tiffany was a slimmer, more confident version of her previous self after six months, while Scott had dropped 38 pounds.

Tennis is a sport that most couples take up. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no The majority of couples do not participate in any activities.

Most couples seldom do anything together other than sleep in the same bed and drive to Wal-Mart.

“Coaching was the first time as a couple that we were able to learn something together, take what we needed, and put it into practice,” Tiffany adds. “It’s altered our lives and our relationship completely.”

“Although many individuals have done Coaching on their own,” Scott adds, “I believe it would have been difficult for me to accomplish it on my own.” “We were fortunate that we were able to accomplish it together.”

Scott and Tiffany have been coaching for three years and are still actively engaged.

Tiffany is a mentor in Coaching and assists women with their path every day, in addition to transitioning from a desk job to yoga teacher.

She recognizes many of her own successes and difficulties in them.

“I like sharing successes with them and reassuring them that ladies just like them have gone through this and achieved incredible outcomes. They may not see the changes in their bodies and lives on a daily basis, but I want to remind them that they are occurring all the time. They’re progressing.”

Scott is still with the Scrawny to Brawny lads, doing large weights and eating big meals, giving guidance and assisting the younger men with their own problems.

They’re also shooting the Coaching workout videos, which will show the rest of the customers — both men and women — what real-life, next-door-neighbor models look like.

“Coaching is much more than simply losing 50 pounds,” Scott explains.

Tiffany concurs. She explains, “It’s about making good choices and deciding to live a full, meaningful life.”

“And we’re living evidence that both are possible.”
