Arranging a baby shower for your best friend seems like an important duty. You know the personality and likings of your best friend. Therefore, you can decide the best theme with the most relevant guest list that the mom-to-be is going to love. Yet it is a great responsibility.

Decide A Date
The first thing to decide would be when to arrange the baby shower? Most women prefer the second trimester or early third trimester as the due date is well-ahead and they are not overly tired yet.
However, you may also arrange the baby shower once the baby has arrived, if that’s what your best friend likes. Consult mom-to-be before finalizing.
Make A Guest List
What is a party without the guests? Make a guest list depending on your budget and the space you have at the venue. You shoûld consult the guest of honor in this regard as she might be able to tell you whom to invite and whom to avoid.

Create A Theme
Although you can arrange a perfectly entertaining baby shower without a theme, having a party theme can add colors and fun to the whole meetup. Decide a theme that you think your best friend would like.
You can decide on a theme if you know the gender of the baby. A theme can help you arrange some activities and games, such as painting a onesie, making a scrapbook for the expected mother, and so on.
Send The Invites
Once you have finalized the guest list and decided on the theme, you can now send out invites. You can either buy stationery shop invites or get a customized design. Your invites can be made according to the theme of the party as well. You can also send e-invites since that is more convenient.
Make sure you mention the name of the guest-of-honor, RSVP, theme of the party, and gift registry (in case the mom-to-be is keeping one). This can help your guests to decide on gifts. Send invites well before the event. Make sure to give a reminder call one or two days before the event.
Present Delicious Spread And Decor
What is a party without good food? Make sure to have a caterer, if your budget allows, to arrange a delicious spread for your party. The food items can be decorated within the theme. You can also cook or bake delicious snacks yourself if you are a good cook.
Decorate the house with party decor items that can be cleaned up easily. Remember you are hosting at mom-to-be’s place. Do not make her clean up afterward.
Arrange Party Favors
Lastly, make sure you have arranged party favors for the guests and hand them out to the guests when they leave. Party favors serve as a reminder and a thank you for being part of your memorable day. Customized sugar cookies, bags of candies, chocolates, and gift cards can make a great party favor.
You can arrange them in theme colors and showcase them as part of the decor during the event.
